1972 Triumph Stag Mk1 | Mileage: 10500  | Price: £ RESERVED 19995
Triumph White with black trim Manual overdrive and tax exempt. This Stag is a one off opportunity to own what we believe is the best original MK1 Stag in Existance. The car is in 100% original mint condition apart from service items and stainless exhaust system. The Tyres are still the original Michelin XAS's and the spare has never been on the car in fact the Jack and wheel brace are still unused. All the paintwork is factory original as is the soft top and hardtop. This car was originally built for the overseas market but never left the UK due to shortage of stock in this country. The millage of 10,220 is correct with mot's and a letter from the owner of 39 years to confirm this. All the service and handbooks are present stating the car was supplied by Hewitts Garages ltd of Stourbridge on the 15th August 1972 to Mr J James of Bournemouth. The car was then purchased off Mr James in 1973 by Mr T Reveley Of Poole who then owned the car for 39 years. In 12 years of being Stag specialists we have never seen a better original mk1 than this car, in fact we have not seen a better original mk2 apart from an unregistered car we sold over 3 years ago for £25,000. Make no mistake this is the best original MK1 Stag money can buy .

1961 Sunbeam Rapier convertible series 3 | Mileage: 40000  | Price: £ 12995
Announced at the London Motor Show of 1955, the Sunbeam Rapier was the first of a new range of Rootes cars that was soon to include the Hillman Minx and Singer Gazelle. A complete departure from the Sunbeam MKIII it replaced, it was a modern-looking two-door, four-seat Coupe. Standard equipment included leather trim and overdrive and the cars were finished in a selection of attractive two-tone colour schemes. The bodies were built by Pressed Steel, shipped to coachbuilder Thrupp & Maberly in London for painting and trimming and then moved to the Rootes plant at Ryton-on-Dunsmore for final assembly. Though initially a little underpowered, the Rapier had inherently excellent handling and was quickly adopted for rallying. Indeed the launch of the Series II version took place at the end of the 1958 Monte Carlo Rally in which Peter Harper's Works Rapier had finished fifth overall. The Series III Rapier is generally regarded as the definitive version and was introduced in the September of 1959. Though individually minor, the detail tweaks to the exterior considerably altered its appearance. Inside, the newcomer featured redesigned seats and interior panels, pile carpets and a walnut fascia. The under bonnet changes included a new aluminium eight-port cylinder head, increased compression ratio, redesigned valves, sportier camshaft and new water-heated inlet manifold, which combined to increase power output to 78bhp.---------- This example must be the most original convertible in the country. All original panels, no welding evident .Four owners and 40,000 miles. A true genuine time warp car. The only non- original thing we can find is the paint on the bottom half which has been refinished to a high standard at some time in its life,But hey it is 51 years old .
